Weak digestive fire (Agni) leads to the formation of Ama (toxins), which accumulate in the joints and cause inflammation and discomfort. With aging, Vata naturally increases, resulting in degeneration of Asthi Dhatu (bone tissue) and joint weakness. Improper diet, sedentary habits, stress, injury, and overuse further aggravate Vata and contribute to joint pain.
